Let's get out there and conquer more.
The Year Was 2006
And the world was on the brink of change...
The original Adventure to Nowhere was in 2006 when Jeremy Duell and Galen Blodgett haphazardly took Jeremy's 1988 Volvo 240 miles across the country with nearly nothing but a few cans of Chef Boyardee (which Jeremy still enjoys but Galen can't quite stomach). This journey allowed us the opportunity to experience a world on the brink of massive, and in some ways cataclysmic, change while we endured the beauty and hardship of simplicity, minimalism, and detachment from the world we've been taught to know.
Today, nearly two decades later, we still search for this sense of being and strive to teach it to our children. It's often found on the trails of the Green Mountains or in the solitude of meadows scattered with deer sign. These fleeting moments offer us the opportunity to shed the anxieties of the modern world, clarify our perspectives, and grow.
We want to share this world with you through pictures, videos, and writing. We also would like to encourage and support you on your own path of self discovery. As such, we've chosen to do that through this page and hopefully with more to come.
We are just starting to share these stories and adventures although this is far from the beginning.
Thank you all for the love and support!
